Mark Simoneau’s training and preparation were major factors in his success on the football field. An All-American at Kansas State and 10-year NFL veteran, Mark had the opportunity to study under and train with the top performance coaches in the country. Through this training, he was able to find the best and most innovative methods to improve his own ability. Mark's goal with SSP is to pass that knowledge on to other dedicated athletes.
SSP is the result of Mark's life-long passion for sports and training.

Originally Drafted in the 3rd round (67 overall) by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2000 NFL Draft.
During Mark’s NFL career he played in a total of 124 games (68 starts) producing 525 tackles, 7 sacks, one interception, 12 passes defensed, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 52 special teams tackles. Mark officially retired from the NFL on November 18, 2010. Mark played in a total of 7 playoff games during his career. He played in one Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles and was a member of the 2009 New Orleans Saints World Champion team.

College:
Only the second player in Kansas State history to serve as team captain three seasons. Ranked third on Wildcats' all-time list with 48 tackles for a loss and 400 total tackles. Two-time All-America and three-time All-Big 12. As a senior was consensus First Team All-America, Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year and a finalist for the Butkus Award. First-team freshmen All-America selection by the Sporting News and named Big 12 Freshmen Defensive Player of the Year. In 1999 was named to the All-America Strength team by the National Strength & Conditioning Association. Mark Cleaned 390LBS, Bench Pressed 450LBS, while running a 4.5 40-yard dash and vertical jumping 37 inches.
High School:
As a Senior at Smith Center Mark Rushed for 2,252 yards averaging 10.3 yards per carry and led the team in tackles with 91. Mark also ran track at Smith Center where he was a state champion in the shot put and a runner-up in the 100 meters. Mark’s personal bests in track included a 10.8 100 meters, 60 feet 1½ inch in the shot put, and 182 feet in the discus. In the weight room Mark squatted 585lbs, bench pressed 330lbs, and hang cleaned 335lbs.
