Evan Rapp (Performance Coach)

Evan comes to SSP with over 5 years of coaching experience.  He has had the privilege to work under Scott Greenawalt (University of South Carolina) and Chris Dawson (Kansas State University).  Evan has helped coached various sports during his time at K-State.  While at SSP, Evan will focus on athlete development and individual performance goals.

From 2010 – 2015, Evan was a volunteer assistant Strength Coach. He initially started with Men’s and Women’s Basketball and assisted the head strength coach with developing and implementing programs. Evan then began to work with the Women’s Tennis team and ultimately worked his way into the Football strength staff.
Athletic and Education Background:
Evan grew up in Lawrence, Kansas and attended Lawrence High School.  While in high school, he found his passion for training and physical development. Evan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Kansas State University as well as a Master’s degree in the same field with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. In addition to assisting the Strength and Conditioning departments, he tutored assigned student athletes taking Kinesiology or Human Nutrition courses.
